Tell us about your company?
Here at Glasgow Bodyshop, we have been going for over 17-years, and we pride ourselves in delivering high quality repairs for our customers. Over the years we have worked with a wide range of repair networks and dealerships, but in recent times we have committed ourselves to increase our work provision through insurance repairs. We have held or BSI Kitemark for the past two years and invested heavily in our 7,000 sq. ft premises that will enable us to take on more work and grow the business, both automotive and commercial.
Why did you choose to work with ACG?
We knew taking on additional work from insurance companies meant we were having to deal with the longer payment cycles for our invoices. For a small bodyshop, having to wait 60-90 days for payment is not sustainable for us to meet our growth ambitions. Hence why we decided to bring in ACG to support us with its 24-hour rapid payment service.

From a cash flow perspective, the next day payments are a game changer. Having the money in the bank means we’re one step ahead. ACG is always on it, they make sure the payment packs are spot on, meaning that everything is processed in time, making life so much easier for us. As we grow our operations, we’re going to explore the advanced funding services where we can get 40% of the repair invoice up front. This service is ideal for us as we look to take on more work from varied sources and this will support us in being able to do that.

How do you see the continued impact of ACG’s service on your business in the long term?
Through ACG’s funding support, it means they’re going to help us get to that next level for the business. We’re now in a position to take on more work from insurance companies and meet our expansion plans for 2025.
